Security Cam When I am out of the house this cam supplements the house alarm, uploading photos of visitors, this page displays the last 4 pictures captured since the last upload. Only changes are displayed, allowing months of pictures to be archived locally along with video clips of the event. |

How is it done?
Hardware
Hauppauge WinTV pci card - See my Teletext page for details of how I have integrated teletext on my PC for instant access to my favorite pages..
Giga Video colour video camera.
Software
Win TV-Zone for capturing the event and saving avi and jpeg files.
DOS 7 Batch file for renaming the saved pictures (saved with a time stamp file name)
FTP script to automatically upload new pictures using the built in win 95/98 ftp client.
NetLaunch
for scheduling a dial-up-networking connection and running the DOS batch file
